Ferrari Amalfi
The Amalfi replaced the Roma as Ferrari's front-engined grand tourer. A 640 PS twin-turbo V8 drives the rear wheels, and two small rear seats take children or bags. It suits a buyer who wants a Ferrari for long drives and regular use rather than track days, and who is willing to time the purchase around the India-EU trade deal.

Our verdict on the Amalfi
The Amalfi is the most usable Ferrari coupe on sale in India. The V8 is strong, the front-engined layout makes it calmer on long drives than the mid-engined 296 GTB, and the small rear seats add room for bags. Our concern is the price. The list figure is ₹5.59 crore, but Indian media report that Ferrari is taking orders at about ₹4.08 crore for cars delivered after the India-EU trade agreement takes effect, expected in 2027 or 2028. Paying the full price for an earlier car means a steep fall in value once cheaper cars arrive. The Amalfi Spider is also listed below the coupe's full price. If you can wait, book at the lower price and get the terms in writing. A Porsche 911 Turbo S or an Aston Martin Vantage is worth driving before you decide.
Good things
- Strong V8 in a calm, front-engined car that suits long drives
- Small rear seats and a usable boot for a sports car
- Much cheaper to order if you can wait for the trade-deal price
Could be better
- Full list price looks poor value next to the lower post-trade-deal order price
- Rear seats suit only children or bags
- Low nose; Ferrari does not publish ground clearance
- Ferrari service available only in a few big cities

Ferrari Amalfi: the everyday Ferrari, with a price question
The Amalfi takes over from the Roma as Ferrari's front-engined GT. Its 3,855 cc twin-turbo V8 makes 640 PS at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm, sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ferrari claims 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. Dry weight is 1,470 kg, split evenly between the front and rear axles.
Inside there is a 15.6-inch driver display, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen and an 8-inch screen for the passenger. The rear seats are small and best used for children or soft bags, and the boot holds 273 litres. A rear wing moves automatically between three positions, adding downforce at high speed and staying flat when it is not needed.
In India the Amalfi is listed at ₹5.59 crore ex-showroom before options. Ferrari is also taking orders at about ₹4.08 crore for delivery after the India-EU trade agreement takes effect, which Indian media expect in 2027 or 2028. Running costs include high insurance, tyres and brakes, and Ferrari workshops are found only in a few metro cities.
Should I wait for the India-EU trade deal price?
If you can, yes. Indian media report that Ferrari dealers are booking the Amalfi at about ₹4.08 crore for delivery after the agreement takes effect, against a list price of ₹5.59 crore. The lower price does not apply to cars delivered earlier, and the final figure could still change. Get the price and the delivery terms in writing.
Amalfi or Amalfi Spider?
The Spider has a fabric roof that opens in 13.5 seconds at up to 60 km/h. It weighs 86 kg more and its boot is slightly smaller. It launched in July 2026 at ₹4.60 crore before options, below the coupe's ₹5.59 crore list price. Unless you want the fixed roof, the Spider is the better deal for delivery now.
Is the Amalfi practical for Indian roads?
More than most Ferraris. It is front-engined, has small rear seats and a 273-litre boot. But it sits low and Ferrari does not publish ground clearance, so take speed breakers slowly and at an angle. Plan servicing around the few Ferrari workshops in India.
