Our verdict on the Revuelto

The Revuelto keeps the thing many Lamborghini buyers care about most, a naturally aspirated V12, and adds hybrid power and all-wheel drive. With 1,015 PS, a claimed 2.5-second 0-100 km/h and a carbon-fibre structure, it is as fast as anything you can register in India. It is also long, very wide at 2,266 mm with mirrors, low, and thirsty: Lamborghini's own WLTP figure with a flat battery works out to about 5.6 km/l. The Temerario offers hybrid V8 pace and a more usable size for about ₹2.9 crore less. Lamborghini service is limited to a few metros, insurance is very expensive, and options add up fast. The India-EU trade agreement may lower import costs from 2027, so ask the dealer how a future price change would affect an order placed now. Buy it for the V12 and the occasion; buy the Temerario for the driving.

Good things

  • Naturally aspirated V12 with hybrid boost: rare and special
  • All-wheel drive through the electric front axle
  • Carbon-ceramic brakes, Magneride dampers and active aero as standard
  • Strong collector appeal as Lamborghini's flagship

Could be better

  • Very high price, and options add significantly to it
  • About 5.6 km/l on Lamborghini's WLTP flat-battery figure
  • Very wide and low; ground clearance not published
  • Price could change with the India-EU trade agreement

Lamborghini Revuelto: the V12 flagship, now with electric help

The Revuelto replaced the Aventador as Lamborghini's V12 flagship. Its 6,498.5 cc naturally aspirated V12 makes 825 CV at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm. Two electric motors drive the front wheels and a third sits at the rear with the 8-speed transverse dual-clutch gearbox. Together they give a combined 1,015 CV. Lamborghini claims 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed above 350 km/h.

The car is built around a carbon-fibre monocoque with a forged-composite front structure. Standard hardware includes carbon-ceramic brakes with 10-piston front callipers, Magneride adaptive dampers, an active rear wing with three positions, and 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, with larger sizes as options. The small battery, rated at about 3.8 kWh, is meant mainly to support performance and short quiet running.

The Revuelto is 4,947 mm long, 2,038 mm wide without mirrors and 1,161 mm tall, with a 2,779 mm wheelbase. Lamborghini quotes a WLTP figure of 17.9 l/100 km with a discharged battery and 15.0 l/100 km weighted. It does not publish boot space, tank size, ground clearance or electric range, so we have left those out. In India it sells at about ₹8.89 crore ex-showroom.

Revuelto or Temerario?

The Temerario is a twin-turbo V8 hybrid with 920 PS, costs about ₹6 crore and is easier to use on Indian roads. The Revuelto has the V12, more power and more presence, at nearly ₹2.9 crore more. If the V12 is not the point for you, the Temerario is the better buy.

Can the Revuelto drive on electricity alone?

Only briefly. The battery is small, about 3.8 kWh, and is mainly there to add power and fill gaps in the V12's delivery. Lamborghini does not publish an official electric range. Treat it as a petrol car with electric help, not a plug-in for daily electric commuting.

Will the India-EU trade deal make it cheaper?

It may. The agreement is expected to cut import duty on a quota of European cars from 2027, and Lamborghinis are fully imported from Italy. We have seen no announced Revuelto price change yet. If you are ordering now, ask the dealer in writing how any duty cut before delivery would be handled.
